Working on the Cabin Summer 2011

Last summer was pretty busy working on the cabin.  It has been going on for a couple of summers now and we are finally on our way home to sleep in it for the first time.  Can't wait to wake up and go for a swim every morning.  The cabin is 100% off the grid and is located on Lake Manitou on Lake Mindemoya in Ontario Canada.

Having A Beer With The Mayor of Incheon

Chadwick International held KORCOS this year.  This is a photo from our celebration dinner.  The man with me in this photo is the Mayor of Incheon City Mr. Young-Gil Song.

Cabin Fun!

The weather and contractors have been absolutely fantastic this summer!!!  This has helped with the building of our small cabin on the lake.  I'm afraid that by the time we are actually sleeping there it will be time to pack up and jump on a plane.  However, this will be OK due to the fact that we are heading on an amazing adventure to South Korea....I can hardly wait!

Enjoy the pics!

A Cool Video of New Songdo

This is a pretty cool video showing off the city of New Songdo.  This is where Chadwick International School is located.  I have now visited the city twice and I am amazed at how close the plan set forth in this video matches the reality.  There are still buildings going up and what not, but essentially everything is a go.  AMAZING!!!

First Visit to South Korea with Mr. Cho

When Angela and I arrived for the first time in South Korea we were introduced to Mr. Cho.  Mr. Cho works at Chadwick International and helped to show us around New Songdo and Seoul.  Mr. Cho is one of the most pleasant people that I have ever met!  I am truly fortunate to be working with him.  Thank you Mr. Cho.

On The Way Home

On our way home Angela and I had a lay-over in London Heathrow airport.  After indulging in a beverage or two that are not available in Kuwait, we started to head to our gate.  On the way there a gentlemen spotted Collin Montgomerie and pointed him out to me.  I thought that maybe a handshake and photo might provide me with some good luck during my summer golfing adventures.  Colin was extremely friendly and a pleasure to have met.

Leaving Kuwait after 4 years

After working in Kuwait for the past 4 years, we recently flew out for what could very well be my last time.  Leaving Kuwait has been a bitter-sweet experience.  I am extremely excited to move to Korea and begin working with amazing people at Chadwick International.  However, I will truly miss the caring friends and colleagues that I met there.  Who knows....maybe I'll be back some day to visit.  (Notice the camel on the ramp to the airplane...)
